About Us

Early in his life, Parham Barkhordar experienced various forms of discrimination based on his religion, growing up in a third-world country that did not believe in equal treatment of all members of its society. Hoping to escape religious persecution, Parham Barkhordar came to the United States as an immigrant at the age of 13 hopeful for a better life. His adolescent experiences shaped his decision to help people who have suffered any form of discrimination or unfair treatment. Parham made it his mission to protect and fight for the “little guy,” often aggrieved or abused individuals who were silenced and intimidated by powerful people.

With no command of the English language and being the child of an immigrant family tirelessly working to afford the American dream, Parham Barkhordar had to work extremely hard for everything in life. Focused on his goals, Parham graduated high school in three (3) years with honors. Thereafter, Parham attended the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated with a bachelor’s in business economics and a minor in Accounting.

While working as an accountant after UCLA, Parham realized his passion for advocacy and fighting for aggrieved individuals is better realized through the legal field. Parham received his J.D. from Pepperdine Law School.

Since then, Parham has dedicated his entire professional career to representing employees. For over 10 years, Parham Barkhordar has been vigorously vindicating employees’ rights.

Parham is the founder of Barkhordar Labor Law Group, PC, focusing on all facets of employment litigation for employees, advocating in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration. Prior to founding Barkhordar Labor Law Group, Parham worked at a boutique employee-side law firm, exclusively prosecuting cases on behalf of mistreated employees. Parham takes an aggressive yet measured approach to his cases in order to maximize the value of each case in the most efficient manner, and tailors his approach based on the needs of every individual client. With his unrelenting desire for justice, Parham has helped recover millions of dollars for aggrieved employees throughout his career.

When Parham is not advocating for his clients, Parham enjoys playing soccer, playing the piano, and spending time with his family and friends. Parham is fluent in Farsi.
